Can you replace the fan I already have?

A like-for-like swap on an existing fan-rated box is the most common job we do here. We check the box and bracing before anything comes down.

What if there is no fan-rated box up there?

Then it is a different job. A standard light box is not built to carry a spinning load, and putting a fan on one is how fans end up on the floor. We tell you what it needs, and if it goes beyond a straightforward replacement we refer it to a licensed electrician rather than take it on.

Why does my ceiling fan wobble?

Usually an unbalanced blade set, a loose downrod, or a box that moves. All three are fixable, and we check them as part of the install.

What ceiling fan installation costs

There is no single number, because these four things change it. Tell us about them and you get one fixed price before we start.

Whether it replaces an existing fan or goes somewhere new
Whether the existing box is fan-rated — a light box will not carry a fan
Ceiling height, and whether it is vaulted or sloped
Whether a downrod or angled mount is needed

In Nashville: Vaulted and two-story great rooms are common in newer builds around Mount Juliet, Nolensville and Brentwood. Those need a downrod, an angled mount, and a second person on a taller ladder — worth mentioning when you ask for the quote.
