Terms of service
These are the terms we work under. They describe what we do, what we need from you, and what happens if something goes wrong. Plain language on purpose — if anything here is unclear, ask before you approve a quote.
1. What we do
Elite Task Services provides residential installation, assembly, and maintenance work in Nashville, TN and the surrounding towns listed on our areas page. We currently offer 10 services.
We are a mobile crew. All work happens at your property; there is no shop to visit.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quotes are free and given in writing before any work starts. The price we quote is the price you pay for the work described in that quote.
The price changes only if you ask for work that was not in the quote, or if something is found on site that could not reasonably have been known beforehand — for example hidden damage behind a wall. In that case we stop, explain it, and give you a new price to approve before continuing. We never add work and bill for it afterwards.
Quotes are valid for 30 days unless the quote says otherwise.
3. Scheduling, access, and cancellation
We confirm a date and time window in writing. If anything changes on our side, we tell you as soon as we know.
Someone 18 or older must be present to let us in and to approve the work when it is done. If we arrive and cannot get access, we may charge for the trip.
You can cancel or reschedule at no cost with at least 24 hours notice.
4. What we need from you
Clear access to the work area, and space to work safely. Please move fragile or valuable items out of the area before we arrive.
Pets secured away from the work area, for their safety and ours.
If the job involves an item you bought — furniture, a TV mount, a fixture, a playset — please have it on site, complete, and unopened or checked. If parts are missing from the box, we will tell you and reschedule the remaining work at no extra labor cost.
If you are not the property owner, permission from whoever is.
5. Work we refer out
Some jobs need a licensed trade, a permit, or a specific certification. When a job falls into that category we say so and refer it out rather than take it on. That includes work beyond a straightforward like-for-like replacement, anything requiring a permit, and anything a licensed contractor or electrician must perform under Tennessee law.
We would rather lose the job than do work we should not be doing on your home.
6. Payment
Payment is due when the work is finished and you have approved it, unless the quote sets out different terms.
For larger jobs we may ask for a deposit. If we do, it is stated in the quote before you approve it.
7. Our work
We do the work described in the quote, to a standard the job calls for, and we clean up after ourselves. Packaging and removed fixtures leave with us unless you ask to keep them.
If something we installed fails because of how we installed it, tell us and we will come back and put it right. This does not cover normal wear, damage caused later, misuse, or a defect in a product you supplied.
Tell us as soon as you notice a problem. The sooner we see it, the easier it is to tell what caused it.
8. Damage
If we damage something while working, tell us before we leave the property if you can, or as soon as you notice. We will look at it with you and agree how to fix it.
We are not responsible for damage caused by conditions we could not see or were not told about — for example a wall that will not hold an anchor because of how it was built, or a pipe or cable running where it should not be.
9. Limits
Our responsibility for any single job is limited to the amount you paid for that job. We are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost time, lost income, or the cost of something you could not use while waiting.
Nothing here limits anything that cannot be limited under Tennessee law.
10. Photos of finished work
We may ask to photograph finished work to show what we do. We ask first, we never photograph anything that identifies you or your address, and you can say no without it affecting anything.
11. Text messages
We do not currently send marketing text messages. If we start, the quote form will carry a separate, unchecked consent box, and agreeing will never be a condition of getting work done.
If you do opt in: message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, you can reply STOP at any time to stop messages, and HELP for help.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your job is the one published when you approved the quote.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Tennessee.
